Shrouded Horror: Tales of the Uncanny

Had got this quite a while ago and have been meaning to read it but now that I’m really getting into my horror stride I thought it would be a nice starter before Christmas.

A collection of short stories not just horror but Sci-Fi as well, put together nicely and of just the right length for a commute read.

All of the stories were well paced and a great read though each was so different from the others, there were quite a few styles and sub-genres represented in this collection you never really knew what was going to come next.

I enjoyed them all but two of my favourites were ‘Gifting’ and ‘The Circus King’ well thought out short stories which packed a punch, loved the ending to ‘Gifting’.

Looking forward to reading more from KC Grifant and Dragon’s Roost Press.
