Rock and Roll
I’m trying to read more picture books and this one keeps jumping into my feeds so I thought I’d give it a try.
Amazingly enough it’s about a Rock and a Roll!
Rock and Roll are initially made out to be completely different, hard/soft, from different worlds, with different temperaments and outlooks.
But this book isn’t about differences, it’s all about how even though people and things can be worlds apart similarities can always be found and aspects of difference are there in everyone.
Wonderfully illustrated and a wonderful story about always looking for what makes us the same rather than searching out what sets us apart.
Loved the squidgy roll at the start!
